Let's start this new page out right....with a car that held the title of World's Quickest Fuel Altered for over 7 years...Dave "Nasty" Benjamin, ran 5.612 on April 4th, 1993, and until held the record until Ron Fassl ran 5.581 at
257.68 mph to set both ends of the Fuel Altered records on June 24, 2000.

That record has since been lowered to 5.424 at 282.14 mph, by another Arizona fuel altered, the Neese & Knowles team, in June of 2002.

Joe Mondello's Rat motored Fiat Fuel Altered, at Indy, with Sush Matsubara, pilot, doing some engine maintenence.This was one of the strongest running Chevy powered cars around,

Final round AA/FA meet at OCIR...Dennis Geisler's Instant T in the near lane,
Art McLaren in the Pure Heaven T-bucket in the far lane...who won?

Snodgrass and Mahnken's "Psycho" AA/FA...normally a Fiat Fuel Altered,
the S & M boys installed a 65 Mustang Fastback body on their altered chassis,
and, voila! Instant Altered classic!

Powered by a 427 Ford wedge, Snodgrass and Mahnken took Competion Eliminator at the 1965 HRM meet.
